Instagram announced in a blog post that it has launched a “visual refresh” this week. In this context, the platform is starting to introduce a slightly modified, brighter new logo, a different font and full-screen layout. Instagram says innovations in the design are being considered “to help achieve more immersive and immersive experiences.”
The new font is named “Instagram Sans” and is inspired by Instagram’s logo. Instagram says the font is inspired by squares and circles. The new font also features multiple global scripts. The company says Instagram Sans is a contemporary remix of grotesque and geometric styles. New fonts include Instagram Sans Regular, Bold, Light, Medium, Condensed, and Condensed Bold. Here.
“Instagram Sans is a new way for our global community to express themselves in areas such as Stories and Reels,” he says in his blog post. It was to make Sans globally accessible. We’ve partnered with language experts around the world to adapt the font for global scripts, including Arabic, Thai, and Japanese. We want to support all of our creators and community members as they move culture forward to fully express themselves in any language they choose.”

The company has made minor changes to its logo, which you probably wouldn’t notice at first glance. The logo, as the description states, “is now more alive to make it feel illuminated and alive.”
Instagram states that the gradient has been redesigned using a 3D modeling process. In terms of the new full-screen marketing layout, Instagram says it’s designed to be “forward-looking content” and celebrate simplicity
