Instagram, which comes up with a new feature every day, announced its innovations that make messaging easier. The head of Instagram: Adam Mosseri, announced in a video published last year that Instagram will focus on improving the messaging experience this year.
In this context, the first innovations were presented to users. You no longer have to enter your DM box to reply to a new message while browsing Instagram. With the new update, you can see the messages in the form of notifications at the top of the application and reply with the quick reply feature.
Instagram announces new features for messaging
Send song previews to group chats, making it possible for your friends to listen to 30-second previews of songs without leaving the message. While it is stated that Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon will support this feature, it is possible to quickly share a post with your four closest friends without leaving the home page by long pressing the Share button.
Features in Facebook Messenger continue to come to Instagram messages. While Instagram adds profile pictures similar to Messenger to its inbox to show which people are online, the poll feature has also arrived. In addition to all these, you can send messages silently using the @silent command.
Instagram said most of these features are available worldwide and music sharing will be available starting today. However, Instagram spokesperson Christine Pai noted that due to laws in Europe, the feature that shows who is active on @silent, polls or at the top of your inbox won’t be available to everyone.
