Inside Out 2’s Release Date Has Been Announced!

Developed by Pixar, the animated movie Inside Out was a great success when it was released in 2015. The production, which was selected as the ‘Best Animated’ movie at the 2016 Academy Awards, was about the adventures of the emotions in the brain of a boy named Riley.

Fans have been asking for the sequel of the movie, which grossed more than $850 million worldwide, for many years. The sequel was first rumored a few days ago. After that, the future of the production was confirmed at Disney’s D23 Expo event. Now, it has been announced when Inside Out 2 will be released.

Inside Out 2 will hit theaters on June 14, 2024.

According to Disney and Pixar, the highly anticipated Inside Out 2 will be released on June 14, 2024. Written by screenwriter Meg LeFauve, the film will be directed by Kelsey Mann, whom we know from The Good Dinosaur.

Inside Out 2 will take place in the brain of the character named Riley, as in the first movie, and will focus on the emotions he experienced as a teenager. We will also meet new emotions in the movie. Amy Poehler, who we will see as ‘Joy’ in this movie, as in the previous one, also stated that she liked the script very much.

Let’s add that there are rumors that we will not be able to see some actors in the first movie in the highly anticipated production. Accordingly, Bill Hader, whom we know as ‘fear’, and Mindy Kaling, who we come across as ‘disgust’, may not be in the second movie. This is because Disney offers low fees to voice actors.
