Apple, which has focused on Mac, iPad and iPhone products in recent years, has not forgotten its other products. Famous Apple analyst Mark Gurman shared information about the new generation HomePod and Apple TV in his news bulletin.
The new HomePod will be introduced in 2023
Gurman stated that Apple is working on a HomePod device codenamed B620. It is also stated that the new HomePod device will be closer to the original HomePod in size than the HomePod mini. In addition, the new generation HomePod will be powered by the Apple S8 processor that Apple will use in the Watch Series 8. It is also stated that the new generation HomePod will offer advanced touch controls and may come with a small screen. The next generation HomePod will most likely be introduced in 2023.
Apple TV will be updated with A14 processor
According to Gurman, Apple will update the Apple TV within the next year. The new Apple TV, codenamed J255, will be powered by the A14 processor and will come with 4GB of RAM. The fact that Apple TV gets such a big performance update shows that Apple can focus more on games with tvOS 16.
