Qualcomm, which introduced its most powerful processor last June, and MediaTek, which introduced its most powerful processor in January, continue to invest in the mobile sector with new chips. While the Qualcomm front is working on the Snapdragon 898, MediaTek wants to appeal to the upper segment with the Dimensty 2000. Here is the first information about the two chips!
The information that emerged on Weibo today began to clarify the two mobile chips that are expected to be successful in the upper segment. Qualcomm and MediaTek, which have been competitors especially in Android models for years, will continue to compete with the chipsets they will introduce in the coming days. So what do we know about Snapdragon 898 and Dimensity 2000?
Snapdragon 898 will go through 4nm manufacturing process
Qualcomm, which produces the most performance mobile chips after Apple’s Bionic chips, will put the new Snapdragon 898 through the 4nm production process. Snapdragon 898, which will appear in the upper segment as an octa-core chip, will have a Cortex-X2 core running at 3.0GHz.
In addition, three Cortex-A710 cores running at 2.5GHz will accompany the mobile processor, while the remaining four cores will consist of Cortex-A510s running at 1.79GHz. Finally, the phones powered by this chipset will have the Adreno 730 on the GPU side.
Dimensity 2000 will power affordable admirals
MediaTek, which has not introduced a high-end processor since January, has managed to gradually overturn the criticisms that have been going on for years. Eliminating bad thoughts especially with the latest Helio series processors, the manufacturer eliminated the problems other than heating with the Dimensity series. The Dimensity 1200 chip was also the most powerful processor the company introduced. This chipset was notable for its power as well as its cheapness.
MediaTek, which will introduce Dimensity 2000 in the coming days, will target affordable models in the upper segment. According to the information revealed, Dimensity 2000 will have a Cortex-X2 core running at 3.0GHz. In addition, three Cortex-A710 running at 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A510 running at 1.79GHz will take place in this processor. Finally, the graphics card on the phone is said to be Mali–G710 MC10.
