Other open positions also confirm that the studio is working on an unannounced AAA game. CharlieIntel , known for its sources close to Call of Duty, stated that both positions are for an unannounced open world game. The project is thought to be in the very early stages of development. This shows that the project may be canceled in the future. Infinity Ward’s next game will be Call of Duty Modern Warfare II , which will be released on October 28.
