TechCrunch reports that leading crypto-asset trading platform FTX is in talks to invest in Indian gaming firm Mobile Premier League (MPL). Citing sources familiar with the matter, the report states that MPL has spoken to several investors, including FTX, as part of its move to focus on web 3.0.
The news also stated that MPL wants to increase its valuation to $2.5 billion by extending its E series investment round. The Indian gaming firm, whose investors include high-profile investors such as Sequoia Capital India and RTP Global, is a developer of many mobile video games, from sports to card games.
