Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware, which has made its name known with productions such as Bloodborne, Dark Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and expected to be released for a long time, has entered the final turn.
Yasuhiro Kitao, one of the producer team of the game, stated that the game is ready for sale in a special podcast program he attended. Stating that Elden Ring has now been taken to the ‘gold’ status and the development process of the game has been completed, Kitao also touched upon how long it would take to finish the production that we will be walking through the middle world.
Elden Ring is finally coming
Elden Ring, which was first introduced at the Sony PlayStation conference at E3 2019 and planned to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, was later announced for new generation consoles. The production, which was announced to be released on January 21, 2022, was postponed to February 25, 2022, with a statement made last month.
The production, directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and guided by award-winning legendary writer George R. R. Martin in designing its world, has entered its final phase. Speaking on a podcast in Japan this week, Yasuhiro Kitao, one of the game’s producer team, announced that the development process of Elden Ring has been completed.
Kitao, who stated that the game will definitely not be postponed again, was also asked how long it would take to complete Elden Ring in total.
Although Kitao said that the gameplay time will vary according to the player’s abilities and how much time he will spend in the game, he said that the course of the game was tried to be completed in a total of 30 hours during the construction phase. Stating that there are dozens of hours of side material and things to do in the game, the producer states that if you focus only on the main story, you have to sacrifice about 30 hours.
