Rumors and leaks about the iPhone 14 continue to come. We’re only a month away from the phone’s anticipated launch, and the new leak gives us important clues about what we can expect from the rear camera. At least about the new Pro models…
According to a source who spoke to well-known leak source LeaksApplePro, the 48MP rear camera sensor introduced in the Pro models this year will be “the best in a smartphone if there’s enough light”. Although this sentence is promising, there is definitely a problem at work.
Using the definition of adequate light indicates that the night mode has “some issues” that need to be resolved ahead of launch. So much so that the source emphasizes that the night mode of the iPhone 14 Pro is currently worse than the iPhone 13 Pro.
-There are some issues with the camera system. The new 48MP sensor is “the best one in a smartphone if there’s enough light,” but there’s some optimization to do regarding night mode. Source says it’s worse than the 13 Pro in that field. There’s a substantial amount of noise.

Considering that iOS 16 is still in the testing phase, we can expect the night mode issue to be resolved soon. Because it is certain that Apple will not want to release the iPhone 14 with such a problem.
