According to the statement, the WhatsApp Status feature has received many important innovations with an update made this week. First, users will be able to record audio messages of up to 30 seconds and add them to the Status section.
Secondly, users will be able to set privacy settings every time they update their status. In each update, it is also possible to choose who can see the status. The friends that the user uses constantly will be saved and used again in the next update. A ring will also appear on the user’s profile on status updates.
The latest innovation is to be able to react to Status messages with one of 8 different emojis. Normally one could reply with text, voice or tag. It will also be possible to see previews when you share a link in Status messages.
