Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo made an important claim about foldable iPhone and iPad models that are expected to be released in the future. According to Kuo, Apple is testing electronic ink technology produced by E-Ink for use in these devices.
E-ink is a type of electronic paper that came to life in 1997. Technology for electronic appearance, whose special substance is compressed into a film layer; It appears in e-readers produced by companies such as Sony Reader, iLiad, Cybook Gen3, Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble nook.
Foldable iPhone
The technology was used in the Motorola Motofone F3 model released in 2006. In this way, the phone made a name for itself with its low power consumption. We can say that Apple’s desire to use this technology in foldable iPhones and iPads is in this direction.
