Vivo’s affordable Y series attracted attention. Late last year, the company launched the Y76s and Y76 5G. Now, the company is preparing to launch the Vivo Y77 5G. Like the Y76s, the new phone is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset. The phone, which will come with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, will run Android 12-based FuntouchOS 12 from the moment it comes out of the box.

The Vivo Y77 5G will be slightly thicker and heavier compared to its predecessor. This is because it will have larger battery capacity. The phone with a 5,000 mAh battery will support 44W fast charging.
The Y77 5G, whose camera setup is similar to the Y76, will have a 2MP macro camera and a 50MP main camera. On the front, there will be a 16MP selfie camera that will support face unlock. Alternatively, users will be able to use the side-mounted fingerprint reader. On the screen, no change is expected compared to the previous model. The phone, which has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate, will come with a 6.58-inch LCD panel.
The Vivo Y77 5G, which will come in two color options, Shining Galaxy and Starlight Black, is expected to be launched in China on Thursday, July 7, with a price of about $ 200.
