91mobiles website shared the official press images of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 series smartwatches. The new series will include two models, the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Watch 5 Pro.
It should be noted that both smart watches will use Sapphire Crystal instead of Gorilla Glass DX for screen protection. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will come in black and gray titanium color options. Two variants with and without LTE support are expected.
Launch in August
The standard Galaxy Watch 5 will be available in more color options and at a more affordable price. It is stated that the smart watch, which has LTE and Bluetooth versions, will be offered in two sizes, 40 mm and 44 mm.
Galaxy Watch 5 series will come out of the box with One UI Watch 4.5 based on WearOS 3.5. The smartwatches are scheduled to be introduced at the traditional Galaxy Unpacked event next month. On the same day, the company will also announce its new generation foldable phones.
