South Korean technology giant Samsung is preparing to add a new model to its endurance-focused Xcover smartphone series designed for harsh conditions. The device, which will enter the market under the name Galaxy XCover Pro 2, will be released in the coming months.

While the wait for the launch continues, high-quality render images of the smartphone have been released. The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 will have a 6.56-inch display with a drop notch. On the back panel, there will be a dual camera system.
The first XCover with 5G support
The device will reportedly include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Its dimensions will be 169.5 x 81.1 x 10.1 mm. The Geekbench platform has previously revealed some details about its hardware features.
Galaxy XCover Pro 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset. The smartphone will come as the first XCover model with 5G support. It is also among the news that the device, which is expected to be on the shelves this summer, will come out of the box with the Android 12 operating system.
