Reference images of Radeon RX 7600, AMD’s graphics card, which will be released 4 days later and will be one of the most ambitious competitors of the RTX 4060, have emerged. The resulting images frankly surprised those who are familiar with the hardware.
The reason why it is surprising is that the graphics cards released by NVIDIA in this period have huge dimensions. This new graphics card from AMD has a fairly normal size.
Reference images of AMD Radeon RX 7600 appeared
Radeon RX 7600 is a small board (MBA) made by AMD. The card has two fans and is just under 21 cm tall. This card has been one of the smallest graphics cards AMD has released in a while. We don’t know yet if any partner firms will present this design, but at least it’s clear that a small batch is in preparation for reviewers.
How does the Radeon RX 7600 perform?
The Radeon RX 7600 appears to be slower than NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. NVIDIA’s GPU performs better, especially in the DX12 and DX12/RT tests. The RTX 4060 Ti appears 24% to 25% faster in TimeSpy than the RX 7600 and 63% faster in Speed Way (ray tracing with DX12). In the FireStrike test, however, there’s only a single-digit performance difference between the two cards (the RX 7600 offers 92% to 97% performance of the RTX 4060 Ti).
In terms of generation upgrade, the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB is on average 10% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti, while the RX 7600 sees 34% higher performance than the RX 6600. Launching on May 25, the RX 7600 will be released just one day after the RTX 4060 Ti.
AMD Radeon RX 7600 is a new graphics card based on Navi 33 GPU. The card draws attention with its small size and two-fan design. Although the performance of the card is lower than the RTX 4060 Ti, it gives close results in the FireStrike test. The price of the card is not clear yet, but we guess that AMD wants to be competitive with this card.
