AMD Radeon 780M performance revealed

We’ve already seen multiple leaks involving Radeon 780M iGPU performance. The first leaks show that the integrated GPU will offer performance close to the RTX 2050, while recent OpenCL tests have shown us that it will be close to the GTX 1650 Ti laptop model. We can say that the Geekbench Open CL data shared today confirms the latest leaks.

According to the screenshots, the Ryzen 7 7840HS, tested with AMD 780M on the Geekbench platform, gets 36,757 points with a clock speed of 2.7GHz. The scores show that the new RDNA 3 architecture iGPU will be positioned between the GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q and GTX 1650 Max-Q laptop models.
Next generation integrated graphics units with RDNA 3 architecture, including Radeon 780M, will ship with Ryzen 7040 “Phoenix” APUs with 35-45 Watt TDP. The APU solutions, which will be released in March, are expected to host Radeon-specific technologies such as ray tracing, FSR and RSR.
