It may indicate the presence of physiological health problems.

In some health problems such as attention deficit and hyperactivity (ADHD) and epilepsy, distraction is often seen. ADHD can manifest itself in a form where attention deficit and forgetfulness are dominant, especially in children. In epilepsy, absent-mindedness is seen at the beginning of the disease. 5. While daydreaming, I get so immersed that I sometimes talk to myself and use my gestures and facial expressions. This sometimes causes me to delay the work that I need to complete.

So what should you do if you have a disorienting distraction?

You can try to get help from mental health professionals, but there is no direct treatment for this disorder. Other concomitant diseases (such as ADHD, OCD) can be examined and the symptoms can be treated.
