How can a closed, metal box take on a critical role to interrupt the work of the vehicle?

The answer to this problem contains many reasons, from chemical properties of fuel to pressure stability. Well, how does all this cause air in the fuel warehouse?

The “air -up” of the gasoline warehouse is usually due to evaporation or pressure imbalance in the fuel system.

Gasoline consists of volatile hydrocarbons. As the temperature increases, the molecules become more effective and the liquid state becomes gas. The steam accumulated in the warehouse prevents fuel flow by forming air bubbles on the suction line of the fuel pump.

This situation becomes evident, especially in hot weather conditions, if the engine compartment gets too hot, if the tank is exposed to the sun.

In more contemporary vehicles, the fuel depot works with a closed system.

The evaporative emission control system is used to prevent release of the evaporated fuel into the atmosphere. In this system, steams are absorbed by a coal filter from the warehouse. While the engine is running, these vapors are cleaned by burning.

However, the defective valves in the evap system lead to obstructed air ducts or damaged fuel cover pressure and vapor accumulation in the warehouse.

The quality of gasoline also affects this situation.

The degree of flying gasoline directly affects the risk of air -making. Low octane or poor quality fuels have high RVP, ie evaporate even at low temperature. In particular, the fuels used in winter are more prone to evaporation in summer.

However, there is another reason that never comes to mind: altitude. As the altitude increases, the atmospheric pressure decreases. In this case, the fuel in the warehouse evaporates more easily.

So what can the other cause?

The seal disrupted cover, the clogging of the ventilation holes in the warehouse, the lack of meticulous care, and a multiple warehouse causes the tank to air and pressure leakage.

The airport of the gasoline warehouse consists of these reasons. If you do not want to encounter this situation, it is quite valuable that you have the systemic care of the vehicle and to use carefully fuel. Otherwise, more important problems may arise.
