The manufacturer, which has promised for fully electric cars in the past days, is preparing to go in this direction. It started showing us its new electric vehicles at the Los Angeles Auto Show. One of them is the company’s new concept car Hyundai Seven Concept.
What does Hyundai’s electric SUV concept Seven offer?
Hyundai unveiled its new concept car at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday. The name of this vehicle was announced to us as Hyundai Seven Concept. It is said that this car will be very different from the others. Because the main purpose of this vehicle is to offer a hygienic cabin to its passengers.
What does a car with a hygienic cabin mean?
The vehicle has a system called “Hygienic Air Flow”. There are two modes in this system. Thanks to these modes, the air flow between the front and rear passengers is cut off. When the system is in vertical mode, air from the roof of the vehicle goes out through the wheel vents. In this way, the front and rear of the car are separated from each other.
In the horizontal mode, the air moves from front to back, as in the cars we are currently in. This system will also work when the vehicle is parked. The company said in a statement that they were inspired by the advanced airflow systems found in airplanes.
In addition to this technology, the disinfection system also welcomes us. As you know, viruses can stay on fabric or other surfaces for a long time. A system has been developed to eliminate this. After the passengers get out of the vehicle, the car cleans itself with Ultraviolet C rays. In this way, viruses cannot stay in the vehicle.
In addition to these, there are pieces of fabric inside the car that are produced to hold less viruses. The company has also added a cleaning device to the vehicle that can clean and deodorize your shoes. In this way, you can isolate viruses when you get into the vehicle.
Hyundai Seven’s battery and range
The car is built on Hyundai’s platform called E-GMP. Seven will not be the first vehicle to use this technology. Previously, Hyundai’s first full-electric SUV, the IONIQ 5, was built on this platform. The vehicle has 350 kW fast charging. In this way, it can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 10 minutes. It also offers us a range of 483 km.
