Huobi Global has stopped listing 7 separate cryptocurrencies on its trading platform.
The cryptocurrency exchange announced that the decision to delist these cryptocurrencies was made to comply with the latest financial regulations and the company’s governance rules.
Huobi Global Ends Listing of 7 Cryptocurrencies
In the announcement made on Huobi’s website, it was stated that the company will remove 7 cryptocurrencies from the list to comply with regulations in different countries.
The exchange announced that it will suspend trading of cryptocurrencies primarily Monero (XMR), Decred (DCR), Firo (FIRO), Verge (XVG), Zcash (ZEC), Dash (DASH) and Horizen (ZEN). The company had previously terminated spot and futures trading of top cryptocurrencies. As of September 19, the trading of related cryptocurrencies will be completely stopped.
Huobi also stated in its announcement that the decision to delist these cryptocurrencies was made to comply with recent financial regulations and Article 17(16) of the Huobi Global Token Governance Rules.
Huobi has recently received approval to operate a licensed crypto-asset exchange from the Financial Services Commission of the British Virgin Islands (FSC) on behalf of its subsidiary Brtuomi Wordwide Limited (BWL) and continues to guide its crypto-related policies.
