Today, large automobile manufacturers have started to join the electric vehicle sector, the usage rate of which is increasing day by day. Among these names, the US-based giant vehicle manufacturer Ford plans to invest up to 20 billion dollars to enter the sector.

According to the information shared by Bloomberg in the past months, the company, which allocates a budget of 30 billion dollars until 2025 to develop autonomous and electric vehicles, will reorganize its vehicle operations to be produced in the future with the new investment. The new name to oversee Ford’s transition from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles will be Doug Field, who works at large companies such as Apple and Tesla.
We should remind you that the new name, who pioneered Apple’s electric vehicle project and served as the vice president responsible for some special projects, also works as the chief vehicle engineer at Tesla. Turning its focus in automobile production to electric vehicles, Ford plans to compete with Tesla, which leads the sector, with new investments to be made.
