Huawei, one of the first brands that comes to mind when it comes to foldable smartphones, seems to continue to work behind closed doors, although it has been silent for a while in this area. Huawei, which we have seen with Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs models before, is working on a phone called Mate V this time.
While the photos shared by GSMArena are said to belong to the Huawei Mate V, these photos belong to the case of the phone. In other words, there is no image of a completed version of the phone yet. The interesting part of this is that the Huawei Mate V will be introduced on December 23. At least that’s what the information is coming from.
When we look at the leaked images of the Huawei Mate V, it is not difficult to say that the phone is based on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 in structure. The most striking part of the Mate V, which seems to be a vertical foldable phone, will undoubtedly be the camera area behind it.
We have not encountered a very good camera system in foldable smartphones that we have met so far. Generally, the flagships of the brands in the form of standard phones had better cameras, while the cameras of the phones in the foldable form had lower features. The best example of this will be the difference between the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra by Samsung. We mentioned this in our Galaxy Z Fold 3 review.
Of course, we will see together whether the Huawei Mate V comes this way or not. However, if it comes with a good camera system, it is obvious that it will make a difference between these phones.
