Huawei, which has suffered serious global losses under US embargoes, continues to struggle, especially in China. The company, which develops the HarmonyOS operating system with each passing day, introduced its new tablets. The MatePad 2022 plays it to the next level with its 11 and 12.9 inch models.
At least 8GB RAM on Snapdragon 870
MatePad 2022 is powered by Snapdragon 870, 2021’s popular high-end processor. In addition to the processor, which can be considered the top level of Snapdragon 865 +, 8 and 12GB RAM options are offered, so the device is placed in the upper tiers in terms of performance. Both models have OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 11-inch MatePad offers a battery capacity of 8,300mAh, while the 12.9-inch model offers a capacity of 10,050mAh.
Nokia unveils new devices
The device, which can work with Huawei’s pen and keyboard accessories, seems to rival the iPad and Galaxy Tab series. However, the new MatePad is powered by HarmonyOS just like other Huawei devices. Although HarmonyOS is an emerging platform, AppGallery may not be able to meet your every need. Let’s see if Huawei can attract attention to its high-end devices again.
