Huawei, which has been hit hard in the smartphone industry due to US embargoes, has resumed Kirin processor production as it is known. The Kirin 9000L chip that will power the company’s Mate 40E Pro 5G model first surfaced in Geekbench.
will offer similar performance to Dimensity 1200
Targeting the company’s upper mid-range smartphone models, the new chipset will be a cropped version of the Kirin 9000 and 9000E models that come with a frequency of 3.13GHz. However, the new chip with a slightly lower 2.86 GHz will be accompanied by the 18-core Mali-G78 graphics solution.
Huawei P50E’s processor has been revealed
Kirin 9000L, which managed to reach 950 single-core and 2815 multi-core points in the tests carried out, achieved very similar results to the giant chip manufacturer MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 processor. We can say that the new chip, which performs close to the previous generation flagship of MediaTek, will increase the competition in mid-high-end smartphones.
