Brand Finance, one of the leading brand valuation and strategy consultancy companies, has listed HUAWEI as one of the 10 most valuable brands of 2022 in the Brand Finance Global 500 2022 report it has recently published. With HUAWEI’s brand value growing at an astonishing 29 percent year-on-year to reach US$71.2 billion, the company has more than doubled from 21st last year to 9th this year in Brand Finance’s 500 rankings.
Brand Finance examines the largest 5,000 brands each year and lists brands from all sectors and countries in 100 separate reports. The world’s 500 most valuable and most powerful brands are included in the annual Brand Finance Global 500 ranking, which is now in its 16th year.
The technology sector as a whole has once again proven to be the most valuable sector in the Brand Finance Global 500 ranking, with a cumulative brand value of close to USD 1.3 trillion.
Brand Finance attributes HUAWEI’s brand growth to its commitment to innovation by investing heavily in R&D with domestic tech companies, while also focusing on the electric car business while continuing to strengthen cloud services.
