HTC is reportedly working on a new mid-range smartphone. The HTC U23 Pro 5G model with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, 12 GB RAM and Android 13 appeared in the Geekbench database.The device achieved 933 points in the single-core processing test and 2,351 points in the multi-core processing test in Geekbench. As you may recall, the HTC brand launched its latest U-series smartphone in 2020.
The last U-series phone came out three years ago
The model in question was the HTC U20 5G, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 platform. The device also featured a 6.8-inch FHD+ display, 8GB of RAM and a 5,000mAh battery. The main camera system included a 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 megapixel sensor, while a 32-megapixel selfie camera was located on the front.
HTC U23 Pro 5G’s display, battery and camera features are not yet known. There is also no information on when the smartphone will be released. All these details are expected to be clarified in the coming days.
