HTC outlined its response to Facebook’s metaverse earlier this year with Viverse, which lets you socialize, host meetings, and more in VR. Later, during Mobile World Congress, he said he would launch a high-end smartphone with some kind of metaverse feature. Now, HTC has given a launch date for the device, along with an image showing the shape of the phone and HTC’s Viverse logo.

This device seems likely to deliver an AR/VR experience via HTC’s open source Viverse . This metaverse platform allows you to chat with others via VRChat, hold business meetings with Engage, collaborate on Vive Sync, watch “holographic” VR concerts, and more. It is also expected to have integration with the Vive Flow VR headset.
While it’s not yet clear how much overlap there is between crypto and VR fans, it may have some blockchain features, like the Exodus phone HTC introduced a few years ago. According to an earlier report from Focus Taiwan, the company is said to be partnering with Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile and FarEasTone in Taiwan.
