HTC and Holoride collaboration brings the bullet train experience to your car

In the past, VR glasses only provided a visual experience due to lack of movement. Now, HTC has made a new collaboration with Holoride so that you can get that missing sense of movement while traveling in the car. With this collaboration, HTC wants to provide a realistic high-speed train experience that works in harmony with your car’s movements using the Vive Flow VR glasses. In addition, although not certain, this developed technology may be a solution against motion sickness.

HTC introduced the Vive Flow VR headset in October 2021. HTC Vive Flow VR glasses have a 100-degree field of view and a 75 Hz refresh rate. In addition, the headset, which comes with dual speakers, also has a noise canceling feature. Thus, HTC aims to offer you a unique experience.

A unique experience in the car awaits you with HTC Vive Flow VR glasses

HTC’s collaboration with Holoride is a more immersive experience. It aims to integrate Vive Flow into your car journey to create an experience. For example, when you stop at the red light in your journey by car, you will stop at the top of the high-speed train, and when the green light is on, you will go down the hill. Or you will turn a corner on the fast train while the car turns a corner. Holoride will achieve this by taking real-time movement, location and navigation data from the vehicle using XR (augmented reality) technology in Vive Flow glasses and combining them with virtual experiences. But for now, Audi vehicles will support this technology.

Vive Flow, integrated with Holoride’s XR technology, will be exhibited at the Mobile World Congress, which will take place in Barcelona, ​​Spain from February 28 to March 3.
