With the end of 2022, PC game store Steam has joined the annual summary caravan like other services. Valve introduced the new Steam Replay for Steam users, which shows which games they play and how much time they spend on each game for a whole year.
In its blog post, the company writes: “Whether it’s your best year or a year you want to forget, gaming was (hopefully!) a reliably fun escape. From your best games this year to how you spent your time with the game, 2022 with Steam Replay We’re providing a summary of your time on Steam during the year.”
How to Open Steam Replay?
To access Steam Replay, simply log in to your Steam account. Here you can see the Steam Replay page and view various segments where the games you played in 2022 are categorized. On the page you’ll find stats for “Time Played” and “Sessions Played”, play times by month, keyboard and mouse usage vs. controller usage, longest daily play time, and comparisons of your habits with the rest of the Steam community. There are also special sections for those using VR or Steam Deck devices.
How to Share a Steam Replay Summary?
To share your personal Steam Replay summary, you need to set your page’s visibility to Public or Friends Only instead of the default setting of Private. You can also save the image containing the total summary that you can share on social media.
