The Crew-7 flight, which NASA will send to the International Space Station in partnership with SpaceX, will take place on August 25. The crew will arrive at the space station a day after launch and will spend the next six months living and working in the orbital laboratory about 250 miles above Earth.
Crew-7 is the eighth manned spaceflight mission powered by a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft and the seventh crew rotation mission to the space station since 2020 for NASA.
This launch will be NASA’s first mission with professional astronauts since the Crew-6 flight in February and the first crewed mission since the Ax-2 flight in May, which took four private citizens to the ISS.
