Highways, bridges or tunnels become a life saver on our journeys from time to time. But of course, we have to pay a certain amount to use these roads. Because these roads often have higher speed limits, wider roads, more perfect asphalt than normal D100 highways. In order to use these roads easily, you must have the HGS (Fast Pass System) card, which allows you to pass through the toll booths without hesitation, and it must be loaded with balance. If you want to enter a highway or pass toll bridges in the near future, we have prepared the HGS balance learning guide for you. In this way, you can quickly and easily learn the balance of your Fast Pass System card and go on a trip.

The HGS system has been used in our country for years. Before the Fast Pass System, OGS (Automatic Pass System) was widely used in our country. With similar missions, HGS replaced the previously used KGS system. Because during the periods when the KGS system was widely used, there were quite long queues at the toll booths, and users could go to their destinations much later. But after the HGS system, this problem disappeared and car drivers can easily pass the toll booth. If you wish, let’s move on to our HGS balance learning guide without further ado.

First, what is HGS?

HGS, or with its long name Fast Transit System, is a transit system that allows cars to continue their journeys without waiting, by paying the highway or bridge fees quickly. For example, imagine that you are traveling from Istanbul to Izmir. You want to use the Osmangazi Bridge, which significantly reduces your travel time. Thanks to the HGS label on your vehicle, you can pass the toll booths of Osmangazi Bridge quickly and easily without stopping.

How to learn HGS balance?

  • Step #1: Go to HGS’s website
  • Step #2: Click on the Customer Service Login button
  • Step #3: Sign in to your HGS account
  • Step #4: Proceed to PttBank details
  • Step #5: You can view your account balance, transitions and violations

Step #1: Go to HGS’s website

First, you need to log in to the HGS website of the PTT. Through this site, you can learn the balance of your HGS tag, inquire about your passes and breached passes, and load balance into your account within a few minutes. However, by reading brief information about the HGS system, you can access even more detailed information about the system.

Step #2: Click on the Customer Service Login button

Click on the Customer Service Login button at the top right of the home page. From here you can log in to your account, create a new HGS account or follow the security steps to access your account whose information you forgot. However, you can easily find out your HGS balance by taking advantage of E-Government referrals. If the car you want to know the HGS balance of is registered on you, you can make transactions much faster by choosing the E-Government option.

Step #3: Sign in to your HGS account

In order to learn your HGS balance, you must have an HGS account. Otherwise, you will not be able to learn the balances of the HGS tags that are not registered to you. If you do not have an HGS account, you can only top up your account. To find out your balance, you must first create an HGS account and then use that account. After creating your HGS account, confirm the activation mail sent to your e-mail. Otherwise, you may not be able to view your HGS tags directly. If you do not want to create an HGS account, you can view your HGS balance using your existing E-Government account.

If you want to display a label via e-Government, the car whose label you want to query must be on you. Otherwise, unfortunately, you cannot view a tag belonging to someone else through your e-government account.

Step #4: Proceed to PttBank details

After logging into your account, you will see the PTT Bank option. If you have given an automatic payment order from your bank account before, you can also use the bank option under PTTBank. But the most correct option is the PttBank option. Although this option is the last option for you to view your account balance, when you proceed to PttBank account details, you will see the details directly.

Step #5: You can view your account balance, transitions and violations

Your HGS details will appear directly in front of you. Through this tab, you can easily view your HGS balance, check your last passes and add a fee to your HGS tag. In addition, you can easily view the balances you have added recently.

You can easily perform HGS balance learning transactions by following the steps above. The most important detail you need to pay attention to when following the steps above is that you need to have an HGS account. Because without creating an HGS account with your TR ID number, you cannot access the details of your current HGS label. Since your HGS account and HGS tag are registered to the same TR ID number, you can directly access the details of your HGS tag after creating and activating your account.
