  • Step #3: Tap “End-to-End Encrypted Backup”.
  • Step #4: After tapping “Close”, enter the password you created and tap “Close” again.

Note: While the new feature of WhatsApp is useful, keep in mind that if you forget the password you will create for encryption, you will never be able to access the chat backup again.
