READING NOW How much space would Jupiter’s 80 moons occupy if they fell to Earth?

Jupiter’s best-known moons are Europa, Io, and Ganymede. But Jupiter’s moons are much more than these; exactly 80 of them. Large and small, some of these satellites are almost as big as Earth. A YouTube channel called MetaBallStudios has prepared a very striking video to draw attention to this.

MetaBallStudios, which placed Jupiter’s moons over New York in the video, made an array according to the sizes of the moons. The largest Jupiter moons, Ganymede, Callisto, Io, and Europa, are “a little” off the scale.
