The auction started at $2,500 and the bids keep coming. The price is also constantly increasing. The auction is scheduled to end on Sunday.
The original 8GB iPhone went on sale on June 27, 2007 for $599. If this iPhone sells for $30,000, that would mean a 50x increase from its original price.
