In this process, when it is between the Sun and the Earth, the Moon shows itself in the daytime. But when it crosses the back of the Earth, it now appears at night.

But if the opposite happens, that is, if the Moon comes out of the opposite direction of the Sun and goes into the same plane with it, the ‘new Moon’ phase takes place. In this case, only the dark side of the Moon faces the Earth and therefore cannot show itself.

When you look at it, all the stars are a source of light. However, although the Moon cannot produce light on its own, it can get ahead of these stars. We can show the reason for this as its proximity to us relative to the stars and the gigantic size that comes with it.

Because of these, the Moon can reflect the sunlight to the Earth and make itself visible. But stars that are far away disappear as the Sun rises, as they cannot reach Earth enough to exceed the brightness of daylight.
