A new trailer of House of the Dragon, the spin-off of Game of Thrones, one of the most popular productions in the world, which will take place 200 years ago, was shared the other day. Critic scores for the series, which will be released on Sunday, August 21, have also arrived.
House of the Dragon, which will appear with brand new characters, tells the story of the Targaryen Dynasty, which was more powerful and famous for its dragons. The first season of the series was shown to the critics before it met with the audience, and the critics who watched the series gave their first ratings to House of the Dragon.
House of the Dragon has an average rating
Most of the House of the Dragon reviews, which managed to receive 79% positive reviews on average out of 164 reviews from Rotten Tomatoes critics, were made due to the series’ similarity to its predecessor, Game of Thrones. The plot, characters and image quality of the series were highly appreciated by the critics. The fact that it hasn’t strayed too far from the main series has caused negative reviews from critics, and this is thought to be done to please the series’ fan base.
When we look at the Metacritic page of the series, we see that 26 famous critics commented on the series. While the scores given by the critics were in the range of 100 to 25, the average of the scores given was 68 out of 100. There were 17 positive comments, 8 mixed comments and 1 negative comments.
