Horizon Worlds game’s monthly user count reaches 300,000

Facebook announced last year that it is not just a social media platform and that it will advance in this field by entering the metaverse sector. Since Facebook had a new vision for itself, it also decided to change its name and changed its name to Meta.

Facebook (Meta), which has set a new name and new vision for itself, Oculus Quest designed a metaverse-based game called Horizon Worlds, played with virtual reality glasses (VR). Horizon Worlds is a virtual world game where users can create a new environment for themselves by creating their own avatars and hang out. Facebook initially did not share any information about the game that the creators were testing with the beta version. However, mentioning that his expectations about the game are high, the company shared new information.

Facebook announced that 10,000 different worlds have been made so far in the game, and there are more than 20,000 members in its Facebook group, which is exclusive to content creators.

Meta’s social world game Horizon Worlds is growing surprisingly. The number of monthly users of the game, which has experienced a 10-fold increase in the number of users in about 3 months, has reached 300,000.

Horizon Worlds was released to adult users in Canada and the United States in December. Since then, the monthly user numbers of Horizon Worlds and Horizon Venues have increased 10 times to reach 300,000 people. However, this increase does not include Horizon Workrooms users working with the invitation system. Facebook has yet to reveal the number of Horizon Workrooms users.
