Honor X8 introduced: mid-range Android phone inspired by iPhone design

Honor brand announced the Honor X8, which has been rumored for a while. The Chinese company has published the promotional page of the smartphone on its official website without holding any special launches. Since the price tag has not been announced yet, we only have the chance to evaluate its features.

The Honor X8 is reminiscent of iPhones with its flat edges and especially its rear design. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution. Let’s say that the screen-to-body ratio is 93.6%. It measures 163.4 x 74.7 x 7.45 mm and weighs 177 grams.

At the heart of the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. This chipset is accompanied by 6GB of RAM (+2GB of virtual RAM) and 128GB of internal storage. It should be noted that the Honor X8 comes out of the box with Android 11 based Magic UI 4.2. It gets the energy it needs from its 4,000 mAh battery with 22.5 watt fast charging.

Quad rear camera
