Honor will officially introduce the Honor MagicBook 14 Ryzen Edition at the event it will hold on July 21. Honor states that it uses OS Turbo technology to achieve great performance and long battery life.

The AMD version of the MagicBook 14 may come with Ryzen 6600U and 6800U processors. The laptop is 15.9mm thick, has an all-metal body, and comes in space gray and glacial gray color options.

The model that came out last year came with the AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor. As you may remember, AMD introduced the Ryzen 5000 mobile processors at CES 2021. These processors were quite successful and the company introduced the Ryzen 6000 mobile processors at CES 2022. Both Ryzen 5000 Mobile and Ryzen 6000 Mobile CPUs are split into H-series and U-series, just like previous Ryzen 4000 Mobile CPUs.

AMD Zen 3+ cores, redesigned to deliver higher performance per watt, form the basis of AMD Ryzen 6000 processors. Compared to the 5000 series, the chips have clock speeds of up to 5GHz, 1.3 times better processing speeds and up to 2.1 times faster graphics.

Ryzen 6000 processors can handle 16 threads and have 8 cores, each capable of multitasking. Compared to the 5000 series, AMD claims the processors offer up to 11% higher single-thread performance and up to 28% faster multi-thread performance.
