HONOR, one of China’s best rising brands, is also assertive about foldable phones. The technology giant introduced its ultra-thin foldable phone called Magic V2 last month. It also recently introduced the phone called Magic V Purse to us. The company has now introduced Magic VS2, another foldable phone.
Magic VS2, the third foldable phone introduced by HONOR in the last few months, is included in the company’s Magic V series, as you can understand from its name. The device comes as the successor of Magic VS, which was released last year.
Introducing HONOR Magic VS2
Magic VS2, which is a cheaper version of the company’s flagship foldable phone (Magic V2), has a remarkable design and thinness like the others. The thinness of the device was announced as 10.7 mm. In the Magic V2, introduced last month, this ratio was 9.9 mm. In addition, we should point out that it is lighter than the V2 with 229 grams. The weight of the V2 was 231 grams.
The phone, which comes with a perforated screen design, comes with a 7.92-inch foldable screen and a 6.43-inch external screen. We also see LTPO OLED and 120 Hz refresh rate on the screens. We also see 2,500 nits maximum brightness and HDR10 + support on the phone.
When we come to the camera side, we encounter a triple camera setup on the back. There is a 50 MP main, 20 MP telephoto and 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera here. There is a 16 MP selfie camera on the front.
Magic VS2 has a different processor than the V2 that comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It added the Snapdragon Gen 1 chipset, the previous generation from Gen 2, to the device. This processor is also paired with 12/16 GB RAM options. There will be two storage options: 256/512 GB.
The phone will come with a 5000 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It will come out of the box with MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13.

HONOR Magic VS2 price
HONOR Magic VS2 launched in China today. The price of the 12/256 GB version was announced as 6,999 yuan ($958), and the 16/512 GB version was announced as 7,699 yuan ($1,054). There is no information whether the phone will be sold outside China.
