HONOR, a global smart device manufacturer, has become the top selling smartphone brand in China with its innovative products recently. According to market research firm CINNO Research data, HONOR surpassed its competitors in March 2022 to take the first place.
According to this research, HONOR, which managed to get a difference of 100,000 units from its closest competitor, increased its smartphone sales by 143.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. According to the CINNO Research report, HONOR ranked second among the top three smartphone manufacturers in China in the first quarter of 2022. Making a strong start to 2022, aiming to bring more products to global markets and doubling its sales worldwide, the company also showed that it is progressing in line with its target with this sales success.
More products to global markets
HONOR will focus on key international markets to maintain steady growth in the face of industry-wide challenges such as the global chip supply challenge. Presenting the HONOR 50 to users in 49 countries, the company plans to bring more products to markets around the world this year, including the HONOR Magic Series in smartphones, the HONOR N Series and HONOR X Series in computer models.
More than half of HONOR’s more than 11 thousand workforce is R&D personnel and this workforce makes a significant contribution to the company’s technological growth. HONOR also has over 100 innovation labs in addition to six R&D centers, one in France and one in Japan.
