Chinese technology company HONOR introduced its new smartphone “Magic V2” at an event it held today. HONOR Magic V2, which is a foldable screen smartphone that rivals the Galaxy Z Fold5, can currently only be purchased in China and has a not bad price tag. Let’s take a closer look at HONOR Magic V2 together.
As expected, the smartphone, which has a dual-screen structure, hosts a 120 Hz OLED screen on its cover, measuring 6.43 inches and offering a resolution of 2376 x 1060 pixels. The foldable screen inside offers a 7.92 inch display area, 2344 x 2156 pixel resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. HONOR Magic V2, which hosts the same selfie camera on both screens, offers the consumer 16 MP resolution and internal ultra wide angle.
Introducing HONOR Magic V2
HONOR Magic V2 is a model that defies flagship phones. In this context; Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the phone is paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It should be noted that the smartphone, which has a 5000 mAh capacity battery with 66W fast charging support, will work with the Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 interface. On the other hand; HONOR has used lightweight titanium material in this smartphone. The company says that the hinge design, which is designed in the form of a water drop, does not crease the screen. This smartphone has a thickness of 4.7 mm when open and 9.9 mm when closed. This value was announced as 6.1 mm when closed and 13.4 mm when closed on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5.
When we look at the back of the phone, we see the advanced triple camera setup. The main camera of the phone offers 50 MP resolution and offers ultra wide angle support. This is accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle secondary camera that also offers 50 MP resolution. The third camera of the phone offers 20 MP resolution and is used for telephoto purposes. The laser sensor placed right next to this camera setup offers perfect focusing using instant depth data. Just below the LED flash, there is a second sensor that measures color temperature and vibration.
