Honor announced Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50 SE smartphones in China in June. Allegedly, the company has brought its work on the Honor 60 series to an end. Chinese tipster WHY LAB also said that the new devices will be introduced in December.
Features of the Honor 60 family
According to the image shared by WHY LAB, the Honor 60 family will continue the dual-ring camera design, just like the Honor 50s. In the naming part, it is expected to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and come with Honor 60, Honor 60 Pro and Honor 60 SE models.
It is said that the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro models of the series will support 66 Watt fast charging, while the Honor 60 SE will support 40 Watt charging. There are several different Honor devices that have been identified to come with 66 Watt fast charging support on China’s 3C certification platform. Examples of these are GIA-AN00, ELZ-AN00, TNA-AN00, ANY-AN00 and LSA-AN00. Of course, according to the allegations, two of these code names are expected to belong to Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro.
There is no information about other features of the Honor 60 family yet. However, it should be reminded that Honor 50 and 50 Pro come with Snapdragon 778G chipset, while Honor 50 SE comes with Dimensity 900 chipset. Because it is said that a similar situation will occur in the Honor 60s. For example, we can see the new SE model together with the Dimensity 920.
Honor has not yet confirmed the arrival of its new series.
