One of the automakers in question is Honda. As part of its plans for the future, the company, which is preparing to launch the Prologue series new generation electric car in the USA in 2024, shared its sales expectations.
The company plans to sell 70,000 Honda Prologues
According to Reuters, the Japanese auto giant aims to expand its product family as it aims to sell a total of 500,000 electric vehicles in the United States by 2030. For this reason, it started to work on launching a new model to the market in 2024.
The vehicle, which is planned to be 100 percent environmentally friendly, will emit zero emissions and will comply with the rule that all vehicles sold by 2030, signed by Joe Biden, will be electric. The company, which entered into a very special work, agreed with General Motors Co for the production of the Honda Prologue series.
Honda Prologue, which is expected to meet the end user in 2024, will also bring a modular design. Both companies are joining hands to develop an electric Acura SUV. GM will be responsible for assembling the new Prologue and Acura SUV, both of which will be released in 2024. However, Honda will undertake the general parts production.
