The US Senate, which held a public meeting in the past hours, listened to the research of the independent study team commissioned by NASA. Regarding the issue, NASA officials said that they detected the existence of situations called UFOs or UAP (unidentified weather events). In addition, the captured images were shared.

NASA: We have proven the existence of UFOs or UAPs

A team including former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, professors of physics, and Federal Aviation Administration officials discussed their approach to UFOs. The primary goal was that a scientific plan would be needed to evaluate future observations rather than focus on past events.

The upcoming official report from the NASA working group discussed how UAPs differ from their media release. In other words, he stated that even if the existence of UFOs is accepted, they will not be like the “aliens” that have been described for years.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, on the other hand, has called for a scientific assessment to ensure sky safety. NASA aims to conduct this investigation in a transparent manner. Future UAP reports will boost confidence among science and the public, according to the space agency.

Astrophysicist David Spergel assured during the meeting that NASA was “not hiding any evidence of extraterrestrial life.” He reported that the agency will explore the possibilities of whether there is life beyond Earth.

Former astronaut Scott Kelly, who has more than 20 years of experience at NASA, stated that he did not receive any information about the UAP or UFO during his time at the agency. Therefore, the reports to be submitted in the coming years will be open to the public.
