In recent years, the problem with energy resources has been growing. The resources used in electricity production are also starting to be limited. As such, large companies and countries interested in the subject are in search of creating new resources. As a result of this search, an interesting resource was created in China.

Biomass RNG cogeneration project generates electricity from cow dung and straw

Looking for new exit doors to meet its electricity needs, China came up with an interesting initiative in this regard. The Anhui Wuhe Modern Energy RNG cogeneration project, built by China Energy Construction, uses cow dung and straw as raw materials for electricity generation.

The structure, which is the country’s largest single biomass RNG cogeneration project, is on its way to becoming an important electricity source. So much so that, according to company officials, the total capacity of the project is 9 megawatts. If everything goes well in the project, it is aimed to grow even more.

The Chinese electricity council is very hopeful about the project. Because the project will generate electricity for China’s high-tech and equipment manufacturing industries. So much so that coal-fired electricity in the country is the most important of China’s current resources.

China, the green and low-carbon development trend in energy production began to come to the fore. So much so that full-scale grid-connected solar power generation has seen an increase of 25 percent in the last year. In addition, there is an increase of 40 percent in the energy obtained from wind energy.
