Apple recently presented the new version of iOS 18 to iOS 18.3 on iPhone models. This version brought some innovations about artificial intelligence characteristics. However, a news from Bloomberg and the information from users revealed that a closed feature was added.

Compared to this, the technology giant went to cooperate with SpaceX to bring the satellite internet to the iPhones. In this participation, GSM operator T-Mobile also included. The feature was seen in a small number of users because it was presented as beta.

It will be an alternative to iPhone’s satellite contact feature

iPhones currently have Apple’s own satellite theme supplement. This feature allowed the device to connect through satellite, even in areas that never attracted. Starlink will be presented as an alternative.

In fact, Apple and SpaceX are not surprising. After announcement of the first satellite contact feature in Apple 2022, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said that they had positive talks on Starlink. Now the information has shown that these talks have managed to bring Starlink the basis to the iPhones. It should be noted that there is no official explanation from Apple.

The Starlink supplement of iPhones will be only for communication. However, T-Mobile and SpaceX also want to bring data contact and voice search support soon. The iPhone will also be used from the current satellite feature. So much that the current feature users need to hold their iPhones to the sky. However, there will be no need for this with the Starlink reinforcement, the satellite contact will work automatically. In other words, even access to the user’s pocket will be provided.
