Recently, a bomb-like claim was made about Samsung. A source leaking about smartphones claimed that Samsung will add an affordable and foldable smartphone to the Galaxy A series via its Twitter account. In the allegations that emerged today, it is said that Samsung will add a new member to the Z series.
About a month ago, it was revealed that the South Korean technology giant was working on a product that could be favored, that is, when the user pulled the relevant part on the phone, on a product where the screen of the phone was enlarged and patented it. According to the claims that emerged today, Samsung received another patent.
Samsung can add a new dimension to the world of folding phones
According to claims and patents, Samsung can bring a completely different look to its foldable phone series. In the images, it seems that the company is preparing to offer a phone with a screen that opens and closes, that is, expands to the side. Three images show that Samsung is trying to consolidate its place in the foldable phone world and accelerate its work on this subject.
The first patent image above shows the exact dimensions and what it looks like of a vertically extending screen. In the second image, there is a screen design that opens to the side. The fact that the screen can be expanded horizontally may be an indication that we can use a larger screen both while watching videos and playing games.
In the third and last image, there is an image of a screen that can be extended to the side. This image shows how the camera of the phone, which opens more sideways, can be used. At the same time, this image allows us to have some idea about which system the phone extends sideways and its battery.
We see Samsung and other big companies constantly getting designs for new products. While some of these patents are implemented, some remain only as images. It is not yet known whether this patent will be the new member of the Z series.
