iPhone 15 Pro and previous generation iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models can zoom 3x. The telephoto camera of the 15 Pro Max can do 5x optical zoom and 25x digital zoom. Although this is the highest zoom value among iPhones, Apple lags behind its competitors. For example; Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra model has a 100x Space Zoom feature that can capture images from 100 meters away. Google’s Pixel 7 Pro model features 30x digital super-resolution zoom with 5x optical zoom.
There is no difference between the 15 Pro models except for the 5x optical zoom. Both phones have a 48-megapixel main camera, a larger sensor that captures more light, and the user is offered a choice of 24mm, 28mm and 35mm focal lengths. An updated 13mm ultra-wide camera and second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilization are also present.
