Expected features of Galaxy S24 Ultra
Trusted source Yogesh Brar has published the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra specs on the X, and most of the specs seem to be in line with the Galaxy S23 Ultra overall. More specifically, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will offer 120Hz variable refresh rate on its 6.8-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display. While the device is expected to have a 12 MP selfie camera, there will be a 200MP + 12MP ultra wide angle +50MP (3x optical zoom) +10MP periscope telephoto setup on the back.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will house the 200 MP ISOCELL HP2SX sensor, which is a revised version of the ISOCELL HP2 used in the S23 Ultra. This sensor has 1/1.3 inch optical format and 0.7 µm pixel size. It will offer features such as super quad phase-detection autofocus and 8K 30fps video recording.
Apart from these, the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and One UI 6 operating system based on Android 14. There are also a few other features worth noting. First, the leaker claims that the phone will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and does not mention the Exynos variant. This is in line with a recent leak pointing out that the Ultra version is only available with Snapdragon.
In addition, it is stated once again that the phone will have a titanium case. It looks like the Galaxy S24 Ultra will provide some significant upgrades, while missing the higher-speed charging feature expected by users. But of course, these are just rumors for now. The Galaxy S24 series will be introduced in early 2024.
